Parkside
Parkside was purpose-built as a school boarding house in the 1880s and has since been regularly extended and renovated, most recently in 2017.
The House has many notable old boys, including the author Frederick Forsyth, one of the world’s leading thriller writers, and Norman Heatley, the scientist who turned the discovery of Penicillin into medicine.
Parkside has the following facilities.
· 48 beds (46 singles, one suitable for disabled guests with en suite facilities) & 1 x twin room
· Games Room with TV, Boot Room & Drying Room.
· Kitchenette with fridge / adjoining staff lounge.
· The house has a small garden suitable for supervised quiet activities.
Please note that part of the site is a residence for the Housemaster, his Assistant and their families.
